Peruvian hard bean coffee that comes from the Chanchamayo province, located in central Peru. It grows between 1200 and 2000 meters above sea level. The farms belong to small producers with less than 2 hectares of land that generate around 3000 lbs of coffee per harvest. It is a shade-grown coffee and cultivated at high altitude in order to produce denser beans and a more complex cup, feature of its maturation process. In addition, the producers have made a remarkable effort to produce a high quality bean by only using sustainable farming practices. This coffee gives in the cup a fruity fragrance combining a balanced flavor and cocoa aroma. Good acidity and full body.
